- Summit Stratos
I first ordered the Summit Classic bibs. I loved the material but the chamois missed my sit bones and the sides were cut a bit too low and kinda cut into my waist. I returned them and got the Summit Stratos. The fit was better and they are great bibs. I wish the Classic would have fit the same way. I really liked the feel of the fabric. 5'10" 148lbs medium.
These bibs are very well constructed and extremely comfortable. The chamsis made out of nice material and remained comfortable after a 4 hour ride. I order the long version of these bibs and they stayed down near the top of my knee throughout my rides. I would recommend purchasing these bibs if you have the opportunity.
Very comfortable. Would buy again.
Great on mountain and road rides
This is my 2nd pair of Summit bibs, the 1st being the Summit Stratos 12 hr. I love the Stratos for their incredible comfort and fit and the Classic is similarly amazingly comfortable. By comparison, the Classic has less compression than the Stratos which to me is a drawback. The Stratos to me is perfection with very even, solid but not overpowering compression. Otherwise, these have really high-end comfort and a clean look. If I were to buy again, I would go with the Stratos.
5'10", 165lbs, size medium I was never a fan of bibs/shami's however these changed my mind. My girlfriend got these for me bc I was hating all of my current riding shorts. The entire bib is super comfortable, even the shami, the thickness is perfect, its thick where you need it and thin where you want it to be. Also, the shorts wick away moisture. Great product! Highly recommend!
This is my first pair of bibs and I wasn't really sure what to expect, I have worn them 4 times now and I really like them. My longest ride has been about 5 hours and I do feel they would stand up well for longer rides. My 4-star rating is only because it's early in my use and I want several more rides before giving a full 5 stars.
Soft and luxurious - Awesome bibs!
Shoulder straps a bit too loose for me. Doesn’t seem to hold up shorts as well. They were out of my size in the 12-hour. Will hold out next time.
These are the third bibs I’ve bought from Pactimo. They are not as comfortable as the 12 hour bibs, but no other bib short or tights I’ve bought the last 13 years is. I do like these bibs for short to medium length rides. Anywhere up to around 40 miles. They feel lighter and the pad is less bulky than the 12 hour series. This gives them a sportier feel in my opinion. I will probably buy the 12 hour bibs next time out. I don’t race and the comfort is second to none on those.
These are great bibs. I was not sure I would like the laser cut edges but they seem well constructed. The chamois is comfortable and helps with long mile rides, and they seem to breathe well also. I am 6'2" with a 36" waist and the XL fits perfect.
I have about a dozen bibs from several different companies. My “best” bibs got damaged in the wash so I needed some replacements. The Summit classic bibs were my choice to fill the gap. I was very pleasantly surprised to find they’ve become my new “best” bibs. No compromises in fit, chamois, leg grips, material, or upper straps. Very glad I made this purchase.
This is the third set of bibs I have purchased from Pactimo and these are excellent. They fit very comfortably, and after 5 different rides wearing them I have had no noticeable seam or padding interactions, and they secure well my knee warmers. A very comfortable ride makes them definitely worth the purchase!
It’s definitely not a bib for fondos
Not a fan of the cut and new lines
I was very dismayed to see the tag in the garment "Made in China" . Paying that much for something one would expect that it would not have been made with salve labor. Also, I didn't wash the item before using it and something on the fabric made me very ill. You should place a warning with your garments to wash before wearing, if you're going to have them made in China. I'll look for something made in the U.S.A. in the future.
