Livestream Replay: Sika Henry, IRONMAN Triathlete

Sika Henry, an IRONMAN triathlete, is hoping to turn pro and is passionate about increasing diversity in the sport of triathlon where African Americans make up only 0.5% of the sport. Join us for a conversation with this impressive athlete changing our sport one race at a time.

Sika, a Customer Insights Project Manager for Ferguson Enterprises, has a degree in Economics from Tufts University where she was a collegiate high jumper and NCAA All-American athlete. She is also a 2-time marathon winner and competitive triathlete. Five months after a horrific cycling accident in April 2019, Sika competed at IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta, where she finished 6th female amateur overall – just missing qualifying for her pro card by less than 4 minutes. Two weeks later she crossed the finish line at the 2019 IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
