YOU GET TO CHOOSE — AERO OR TRADITIONAL FIT
This jersey is available in either an aerodynamic (Aero) form fit or a roomier and more Traditional fit. See details below.
Designed for riders who want a jersey with naturally UPF 50+ fabric and extra-roomy rear pockets with bottom bellows, making it a great choice for a variety of adventures and long days in the saddle.
DESIGN NOTES
Incorporating an overall sleek design aesthetic, the Ascent Aero includes a tapered collar with a lower set point in front for increased comfort, especially when fully zipped. We also used a YKK semi-auto lock zipper, which features a textured rubber pull for better gripping. The biggest advantage of a locking zipper is the ability for the wearer to singlehandedly unzip and open their jersey for venting. Merely flip the pull up to unlock the zipper. Then, with one hand, the jersey can be pulled open. Flip the pull back down to lock the zipper pull in place. The pocket design features a stretchy and more durable opening and an innovative bellows at the bottom that expands when stuffed with larger objects. And to facilitate more comfort and less binding when in the riding position we removed the waist gripper from the front half of the jersey.
We partnered with artists Andrew Harris and Seitu Barnes to release limited edition Black History kits, celebrating Past, Present and Future.
Pactimo will donate $25 from the sale of each Ascent Jersey to two organizations, Major Taylor Iron Riders Development Team & the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
Black History Month Kits
"Unification and togetherness was what we hoped to convey and I guess, achieve more of. And
as always, we're interested in making a statement and designing something that people are proud to wear and feel empowered while wearing it - but also something that's just fire. These kits are fire.”

Jamaican born, Brooklyn native for 25 years. Seitu Barnes' passion is in photography highlighting the disenfranchised population in NYC. In his professional life at the NYC Department of Education, he works closely with children and families in low income communities to ensure their educational or developmental needs are met. He is a member of the Brooklyn based Major Taylor Iron Riders. Seitu is also co-designer of a host of popular cycling kits.

ABOUT THE DESIGN
“I would love for this design to be largely embraced as a successful contribution to the many celebrations of Black History Month. What's significant this is another great example of something that is Black, celebrates Black, and designed by
Black."
