- Mt Diablo
Love it so much the first time, I bought a 2nd!
Today I wore this base layer while climbing Mt Diablo in thick fog and clouds. Temps were in the high 40s. I was super comfortable wearing this and a thermal jersey. My core stayed warm and dry. For the descent, I added a couple of jackets. I remained warm and comfortable. I believe the wool in the fabric kept me dry. I will definitely buy another to wear for temps in the 30s-50s.
The large fits like a glove but it's about 2 inches too short. It tends to ride up which is annoying. The last thing you want to think about when exercising in the cold, is your gear.
