THE LAB: As a team, we like to experiment, explore and create. So began The Lab, a place for us to share our fun and crazy ideas. We don’t know how long they will be here, so get them while they last!
OVERVIEW: The Ascent Vector Bib - Long is an updated version of the tried-and-true Ascent Bib, our workhorse that's been ridden hard and raced in around the globe. It's ideal for all weather conditions and distances and with the addition of Flash, will perform especially well on hot, sunny days. Flash is a fabric characteristic that pushes perspiration away from the skin, helping to regulate body temperature.
FABRIC & CONSTRUCTION: Our race-proven Ascent bib includes MITI® Vector fabric, featuring Flash technology, noted for it’s exceptional capabilities of pushing moisture away from the body. The combination of Pactimo’s proprietary Silhouette™ articulation and new contoured seaming have been developed to guarantee a superlative fit in your riding position. Exceptional chamois ventilation is achieved through the multi-density and perforated Liege Carbonium chamois from Italian manufacturer CyTech, creator of the unsurpassed Elastic Interface® Technology.
Pair with the Paper Flight Jersey to get a full, matching kit and all-day comfort in a variety of conditions. Their 3 full-size, rear pockets let you pack plenty of food, tools and additional layers. Bring along the easily-stuffable Ultra-Lite Rain Jacket and you're ready for road spray and a chilly mountain descent. On colder days, when the temperature dips into the 40's, the Ascent Vector Bibs pair up nicely with the Alpine Thermal RT Jersey and a set of knee warmers.
Pactimo is a Colorado company known for quality, reliability and unsurpassed customer service. Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.
Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.
