OVERVIEW: This ultra-endurance bib has been designed with 4 stretch-mesh pockets; two on the lower back, two on the legs, for hauling additional cargo and necessities over extreme distances. They are the ideal choice for those who want guaranteed comfort on extreme adventures, all-day rides and self-supported road/gravel races. The 2nd Generation Elastic Interface® Endurance Anatomic Super Air chamois was uniquely designed to Pactimo's strict comfort specifications for a long distance pad. The extremely durable Cerami–K fabric, noted by its unique dotted pattern,  provides uninhibited movement, long distance comfort and heat dissipation during maximum exertion. Lightweight mesh and raw-edge uppers provide excellent support while also ensuring lasting comfort and an accommodating fit for a variety of torso lengths. Single layer, mesh knit leg bands guarantee a slip-free fit while also allowing for moisture movement away from the skin.

Road.cc"Pactimo says the Summit Stratos Range Bibs are designed for 'guaranteed comfort on extreme adventures, all-day rides and self-supported road/gravel races'. That is a bold statement, but these shorts have really impressed me by actually delivering on that promise. They are hands down the most comfortable bib shorts I've tried." Read the review »

Pockets: We developed this bib for extreme gravel racing in Colorado where rider support is not available and the time in the saddle may easily surpass 12 hours. With that in mind, we've included 4 stretch mesh pockets; two on the lower back, two on the thighs. They can be packed for easy access to food or necessities during your extreme adventure, when not in use they lay completely flat and are hardly noticeable. We've also included a loop on the back to hold a mini pump in place when carried in one of the lower back pockets.

Cerami–K Fabric: Constructed with Swiss-milled, ceramic-print fabric that is super lightweight and extremely durable while also offering and even-compression fit for all-day support and heat dissipation.

Ultra-Endurance Chamois: Guaranteed to provide unparalleled comfort for 12+ hour activities, this Stratos Bib includes the 2nd generation Endurance Anatomic Super Air chamois. Our development team worked specifically with the experts at Elastic Interface® to custom-design this updated version of our award-winning 12-hour chamois to make it even better. The new skin-contact fabric is Recycled Eco X-Fifty, which has a textured design to aid in moisture transfer and unparalleled all-day comfort over any terrain.

They may not exactly reflect the ACTIVE inseam length when the garment is being worn due to the combined effects of the 1) the riders's torso and femur length, 2) stretchiness of the material, and 3) the rider's leg musculature.

Measuring Tips

Using a soft measuring tape, bring the tape across your back under each arm, around the front. For women, measure the widest point of the bust. For men, measure around the largest part of your chest.

Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.

Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.

My new go to bibs

Just bought my second pair as these are definitely the most comforatble bibs I own. They've served me well on 10+ hour rides in mixed condition for multiple days with no major complaints. I dropped one star as they've stretched out a bit more, and wear at friction points with the saddle a bit faster, than other bibs I own. Stil, that's a small price to pay to come home after several hundred miles without saddle sores.

Worth the money (if you can afford it)

This is a pricey set of bibs that are best bought on sale, but worth the money regardless. The techy hex material feels durable and compressive throughout, with a substantial chamois that you'll love if you're into big miles like me. The big feature that places this item in Pactimo's "Range" category are the pockets. 2 rear pockets hide under your jersey for rarely used items (think CO2 cartrigages, spare tires, inflators, etc). Then there are the 2 large mesh hemi-cylidrical pockets (one on each lateral thigh). These pockets are a bit too big in my opinion, as heavier items always drift down towards the underside while riding. Smaller pockets (or pocket partitions) would solve this problem, but I still find use for these pockets to store lighter gear such as gels/hankies/garbage wrappers/ID/cash/etc. Overall, this is a great idea that should be carried forward and re-engineered in future iterations, and I'm more than happy to be on the ground floor as an early adopter for longer rides.

Summit Stratos Range Bibs

Overall experience was really good with these new bibs. Fit is excellent and pockets on outside of thighs are well placed and useful for snack bars, gels, etc. Just finished a 44 mile hilly ride with these bibs today. This was my second ride on this bib and overall very comfortable. My first ride was a little shorter, and I was really pleased with the chamois. On today’s ride my mind (and butt) we’re trying to decide if this chamois is as comfortable as previous versions if the 12 Hour Bib. May take a couple more rides to make that call. Overall another great Pactimo product.

Love them!

I’ve only used them a few times but they are already one of my favorites. The leg pockets are great! Large enough to hold a ton, and right though to hold things in place while pedaling. I’ve only managed to wear them on a 5 hr ride, so I haven’t been able to really test out their comfort on longer rides, but so far they are excellent. Very comfortable. I sized them using the sizing chart (I’m XL) and when I got them they felt not as snug as my other XL Pactimo big shorts, so I was a little concerned. But it was nothing to worry about. They didn’t move on me during the ride. I’ll buy them again when needed.

Exceptional FIT

I loved the fit, design, and quality of these bib shorts. I highly recommend to all levels of cyclists. Although the cost is on the north side of $150..., this price is well worth it.

Great for going the distance

I got these specifically because I do long, sometimes multi-day, tours where I spend 8-12 hours in the saddle. I had used the last generation 12-hour hour bib and loved it. The updated version is even better. No soreness or saddle sores after an 11 hour hard, hilly ride in upper 80s temperatures while carrying full bikepacking gear. The leg mesh pockets are a great bonus. I suffer seasonal allergies and have always found it awkward to keep tissues in my jersey pockets. These are great for that and for holding snack bars. I like to eat them while I ride, but usually only eat half at a time. These pockets are great to hold them between bites. I know that no one likes to talk about saddle sores and tissues, but I also know that I'm not the only one who has been looking for a solution. This bib is fantastic!

Best bibs combined with great idea of pockets

Have the same wonderful feel of regular stratos. Love them. Wouldn’t do a ride of more than 5 hours without them.

Disaapointed for the Price

This bib was the most expensive item of clothing outside of a ski jacket or suit that I've ever purchased. I expected to love everything about it. I do not. I dislike that it's very difficult to lower the bib while wearing it to go *** -- like, really difficult. All of my previous bibs never presented a problem in this department. Further, the shoulder straps are not quite long enough so it's slightly uncomfortable (for reference I'm 6'2" and 170lbs and went with a Medium-Long). Lastly, even though I went with the long version, they are not long enough and mid-ride have worked their way back to where my old bibs typically rested. All in all, disappointed with what I got for my money. As for what's good, great compression, awesome topo graphic design, the pockets are really handy, too. Could've been a perfect bib, but at least for my body type, I think it's merely OK, which for the price is really tough to swallow.

You didn’t know you NEED bib pockets….

I thought bib pockets were a gimmick when I first heard about them, but they really come in handy. These pockets are wide while also being tight. You can put your phone in and forget that it is there. No bouncing around! It’s tight enough to hold gels/food, trash, toll receipts, etc. Probably the best use is when you have an extended visit to a sketchy gas station bathroom…

To be honest, when I first felt the texture of the bibs, I had my doubts. It has this almost rough feel to it. But once I slipped them on, that texture feeling goes away and the fit like a glove. But it's not until you actually get in the saddle that this bib really shines. The chamois is hands down the best I've ever set my tender bits upon. It is incredibly comfortable; definitely my go-to for long rides. Absolutely recommend. Worth the money. Especially when you have a brand ambassador discount.

Quality has gone down

Our team used to use Pactimo for our kits. I ordered a pair of bibs for my personal use and the quality wasn't there. The stitching was felt on the skin. In addition the material was a heavier weight for a summer bib that it felt as though it wouldn't wick.

Pocket bibs!

Excellent chamois plus pockets! Plenty of storage for snacks, phone, etc. Wore it on a 107 mi gravel race and 0 discomfort.

Another Fantastic Bib

Really like this updated bib. Straps are super soft and the overall fit is what I'm used to from Pactimo. Side pockets are a nice bonus to stash snacks, gloves and other items. Super comfortable, my go to for longer 5+ hour rides.
