OVERVIEW: The Cascade is a breathable, heavy-weight, cold weather jacket designed for cold, but not wet conditions. Front panels and leading edges feature Climabloc™, a wind and water resistant laminate fabric, which will provide excellent protection from wind chill and road spray. However, the breathability comes from the Lombardia thermal fabric back and sleeve panels, which will not be ideal in rainy or extremely wet conditions. Reflective Technology (RT) across the shoulders and back offers added safety in low-light conditions making this a good option for commuting or morning/evening rides. If you're looking for a cold weather jacket for predominantly dry winter riding, in temperatures between 25° - 45°, you'll be happy with the Cascade. (Total weight is 585 grams in a size medium.)
FABRICS & CONSTRUCTION: All leading edges and front panels are protected by Climabloc™, a wind and water resistant laminated membrane fabric. Strategically positioned Lombardia technical all-way stretch thermal fabric with a brushed fleece interior maximizes both warmth and breathability. Gusseted cuffs firmly seal out cold and moisture creating a seamless connection with your gloves. The elevated rear collar gently presses against the shape of your neck, keeping the cold from rolling down your back as you press forward into the wind. The single, large zipper-closed rear pocket is 100% waterproof and the internal zipper breast pocket provide a secure, easy to access place to store your small essentials.
Pair with the Alpine Thermal RT Bib Tights for top-to-bottom cold-weather defense and 360° reflectivity. Add a Neck Gaiter and Thermal Cap and you'll be warm in temperatures down to 25°.

Using a soft measuring tape, bring the tape across your back under each arm, around the front. For women, measure the widest point of the bust. For men, measure around the largest part of your chest.
Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.
Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.
