Theoretically, any jersey would be sufficient or acceptable for a day of gravel grinding. However, we typically choose the Ascent Aero long sleeve. It provides extra protection from everything you may encounter (rocks, bugs, grime, sun) but with extremely breathable fabric so you don't overheat. Plus, there's three full-size pockets to load up. Another excellent choice is the Ascent Wind Jersey. The versatility of that garment means you won't need to pack a vest or jacket. Just bring along some Arm Warmers or Summer Sleeves.
The Summit Stratos "12-Hour" Bibs were specifically developed for ultra-endurance events like the Dirty Kanza, one of the world's premiere gravel grinders. They are guaranteed to provide all-day comfort over challenging terrains. But, if you're looking for a more compressive fit, you'll want the Summit Raptor. Its tightly-woven fabric provides muscle-soothing support. For those who prefer baggies when they hit the dirt, we recommend an Apex Bib Liner and the extremely durable Terrain Short (with zippered pockets for plenty of accessories).
