OVERVIEW: The Alpine Thermal Bib Shorts, with Reflective Technology (RT) on the left thigh and leg grippers, is an excellent choice for low-light, fall and winter rides, early morning training or cold-weather commuting. Thermal bib shorts are perfect for riders who want thermal coverage in the torso and upper thighs but prefer optional use of knee or leg warmers.
"Though the thermal fabric keeps the quads toasty even when the temps dip into the forties, the shorts still breath well and are suitable for conditions in the low sixties. The Elastic Interface® chamois holds up on ve hour rides and the cut of the shorts along with the flatlock stitching makes these some of the most comfortable bibs weve used all year, thermal or not. The short also utilizes reflective pixels in the fabric of the leg grippers for a more visibility on dark days."
FABRICS & CONSTRUCTION: Italian MITI® Lombardia stretch fabric, featured throughout the body and straps of the bib will be soft and cozy against your skin. Due to its high-performing breathability, it not only keeps you warm and dry, but prevents you from over-heating as you put in those cold-weather miles. Built with Pactimo’s signature Silhouette™ Engineering, these bibs use innovative articulation and a unique strap and front panel design to allow you to enjoy longer rides with less material bunching, chaffing and discomfort. The Alpine Thermal bibs feature Elastic Interface™ Liege Carbonium chamois for exceptional freedom of movement and comfort.
The left-side thigh strip and leg grippers are designed with reflective fabric from Plastotex, an innovative Italian manufacturer. This revolutionary fabric has refractive elements impregnated directly into the cloth that “explode” with brightness when illuminated by exposure from direct light, such as a car’s headlights. The following OFF BODY inseam lengths were measured on a garment at rest. They may not exactly reflect the ACTIVE inseam length when the garment is being worn due to the combined effects of the 1) the riders's torso and femur length, 2) stretchiness of the material, and 3) the rider's leg musculature.

Using a soft measuring tape, bring the tape across your back under each arm, around the front. For women, measure the widest point of the bust. For men, measure around the largest part of your chest.
Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor.
Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.
