For spring 2015, Colorado-based clothing company Pactimo has expanded its Reflective Technology (RT) into warm-weather pieces, and stepped up its game with some of the higher-end jerseys while still keeping pricing reasonable.
The new Summit Speed RT jersey (US$115 / £80) uses five fabrics including Lycra over the shoulders and front panels for a skinsuit-like feel. As is the race style these days, the Summit went with longer-length set-in sleeves and a low collar. Pactimo has both men’s and women’s pieces.
The most noticeable component – at least when hit by car headlights – is the RT sleeve banding, which pops with reflectivity. Under daylight, however, the design looks normal.

I tested out the new Women’s Apex kit recently, and was pretty impressed. The Apex Jersey is super lightweight and breathable. The back and sleeves are made of a mesh-like fabric that offers great air flow on hot days and wicks moisture really well, even while wearing a hydration pack.
