Peloton Magazine: Highbury Kit Review

Showcasing incredibly talented artists from inside and outside the world of cycling…

by Peloton Magazine

“If you are a regular reader of Peloton, you know Matthew Burton’s work well. He’s illustrated countless stories in the magazine and quite a few covers. Burton has now joined Pactimo’s Artist Series, taking his unique aesthetic to the road. We’ve been riding in his Highbury jersey, based on one of Matthew’s favorite football jersey’s, the ’92 Arsenal away jersey–yes, that kind of football. Arsenal plays in Highbury in North London, hence the name. Based on Pactimo’s Ascent kit, the Highbury will not only look good, the fit is fantastic and it’s one of our favorite all-around kits. Be sure to check out Burton’s other designs for Pactimo as well–‘For Those About to Cross We Salute You‘ is another favorite too. $95 (jersey), $145 (bibshorts); pactimo.com

Highbury Cycling Jersey & Bibs

Our Artist Series™ showcase incredibly talented artists from inside and outside the world of cycling, our Artist Series offers truly one-of-a-kind cycling gear so you can proclaim your confident individuality.

This jersey has been designed to the exact specifications of an Ascent garment and is the perfect choice for those who want a slim, race-fit without the second-skin feel found in our Summit-level jerseys. Ascent jerseys are what we’ve come to think of as our ever-reliable workhorse. Three full-size pockets allow you to load up for a long day in the saddle and the highly-wicking, honeycomb-patterned material performs extremely well in a variety of conditions. Mesh in the side panels and a full-length zipper offer up excellent breathability.

Pactimo Women’s Apex Jersey Review

November 18, 2016

I tested out the new Women’s Apex kit recently, and was pretty impressed. The Apex Jersey is super lightweight and breathable. The back and sleeves are made of a mesh-like fabric that offers great air flow on hot days and wicks moisture really well, even while wearing a hydration pack.

The Apex MTB Shorts are new in the Pactimo lineup for 2016 and, as the company states, they are “designed with performance-driven minimalism in mind.” These shorts are meant to be comfortable, functional, and good-looking. I put them to the test this summer to see if they do indeed provide all these attributes.
