Mammoth Fall Century Ride & Gran Fondo

March 07, 2014

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2014
MAMMOTH  LAKES, CALIFORNIA

Not only has the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo been chosen as a “Top-Ten Century” bike ride by Bicycling Magazine (June 2012) for its “Jaw-Dropping Vistas,” but Road Bike Action Assistant Editor, Neil Shirley considers it to be on-par with Levi’s Gran Fondo in Santa Rosa, CA.

In other words, the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo is a “Bucket-List” ride.

Situated to the east and south of Yosemite National Park in Mono County, CA, the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo bike rides trace an amazing route through what has been called by some “the accidental national park.” Riders enjoy a serene 102 mile route that takes them along the spectacular east side of the High Sierra with awesome views of the Sierra Nevada Range, Mono Lake and the White Mountains. As well as the wonderful views, riders will appreciate good pavement, very few stop signs and minimal traffic.

The 42 mile “Piccolo” and 70 mile “Medio” short course options offer a later and more relaxed starting time and equally spectacular scenery on great roads. Ride pictures are free at “The Village” the finish area in Mammoth Lakes and no one will want to miss the great after-ride buffet meal, entertainment and the Mammoth Fall Century and Gran Fondo Expo.

There’s also a Mammoth Mountain Prologue Time Trial at 3PM on Friday, September 5th. It’s especially unique in that the Prologue Time Trial is open to everyone and will include an after-ride party and awards ceremony.

Give it a try and test yourself against your friends and the mountain!

The jersey is designed to be "extremely breathable and yet resilient for those long days in the saddle." so I took it out for 3hrs off road in 15° C to test this out.

17th Battlefield to Vermont - B2VT

April 17, 2017

June 10, 2017 will be the 17th annual edition of the B2VT ride (formerly known as the B2B). In 2014 the course was altered to accommodate the new start and finish points but still contained most of the original B2B course (but was even more hilly!). The 2017 B2VT Ride will continue to be one of the most challenging single day rides in New England. By design, it is not for everyone.  This ride is for cyclists who are physically and mentally tough, don’t whine, excel in the face of challenges, know the rules of the road and can ride 130+ miles to the finish safely and without their hands being held. While it is an epic ride, it is not for novice riders nor the faint of heart…

One of our UK 2017 Brand Ambassadors, Dan Smith, has shared a blog with us about riding in the Paris Roubaix. See what he experienced below!

"Now that I have had time, to let last weekends adventure sink in, I thought I would share what riding Paris Roubaix Challenge is like. I have ridden bikes for over 20 years before I traveled to France, in all disciplines MTB, Road, cyclocross and track, but i have not ever ridden on the ‘french’ cobble stones..."
