How To Set Up Your Cyclocross Bike

How To Set Up Your Cyclocross Bike

‘Cross bike setup is a bit different than setting up a road bike…

With its technical nature, it pays to have a well set up cyclocross bike. By this, we’re mainly talking about tires and your position.

Gearing is different too – shoot for a 46 outer ring and a cassette that’s around 11-28.

It’s also recommended that you play around with the release tension on your pedals.

In this video from Global Cycling Network, you’ll see there aren’t any hard and fast rules, so again, get out on your bike with an allen key and play around to find out what works for you.

While it is an epic ride, it is not for novice riders nor the faint of heart…

A Smart Investment In Women and Water
A Smart Investment In Women and Water

March 22, 2017

Together with Water.org, we have helped empower smart women like Aisyah through access to safe water.

Aisyah is a wife, a mother, and a farmer. Most critical to all of her roles is time. Asiyah explained, “Time to work my rice fields means more money I can make for my family; our life is better.” As a smart business woman growing one of Indonesia’s most desired crops, Aisyah recognized lack of access to water at home as the main obstacle keeping her from having the time needed to farm.
