This Memorial Day weekend, Jeremy Brizzi, owner of Crush Multisport, an endurance sport company based in Chicago, will be riding 300 miles in memory of his best friend and to raise money for the American Brain Tumor Association.
“May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and Memorial Day weekend is the perfect time for me to honor the memory of my best friend,” said Jeremy. “Jack was a man’s man, doting father, loving husband, and an endurance sport warrior. He adopted the phrase ‘Never Give Up, Ever, Until the Fight is Done!’ and brought awareness to the disease with grace and unwavering positivity that was both humbling and inspiring.”
Jeremy has partnered with More Than Sport and has been supplied cycling bib shorts from Pactimo for his 300 solo ride, following the historical Route 66 from its start outside the Art Institute of Chicago to the conclusion at the St. Louis Arch.
“He and I dreamed of the day he would win the fight so that we may embark on this epic journey together,” Jeremy said. “On November 4th, 2014, at 35 years old, his fight ended and with it, this world said goodbye to the physical presence, one of Crush’s founding members, an Ironman, and someone who challenged me daily with his example, to be a better man!”
Jeremy has chosen to make the ride a solo endeavor as a way to continue Jack’s fight, pedaling in his name and with his memory in mind. The goal is to raise funds benefitting the American Brain Tumor Association through More Than Sport, to bring awareness, and hopefully an end to this terrible disease.
If you would like to donate in Jack’s memory to the American Brain Tumor Association, you can do so on the More Than Sport website.

Together with Water.org, we have helped empower smart women like Aisyah through access to safe water.
Aisyah is a wife, a mother, and a farmer. Most critical to all of her roles is time. Asiyah explained, “Time to work my rice fields means more money I can make for my family; our life is better.” As a smart business woman growing one of Indonesia’s most desired crops, Aisyah recognized lack of access to water at home as the main obstacle keeping her from having the time needed to farm.
