ALP Gravelpalooza Training Camp
2-Day Gravel Training Camp
April 18-19, 2020 - Boulder, Colorado
Gravel riding and racing is here to stay. It's a friendly, inclusive environment, it's fun, it's beautiful, it's quiet, and it's off the beaten path.
This training camp will bring your gravel riding skills and fitness to a new level. It's an opportunity to put gravel riding miles in your legs, and improve your gravel riding skills and confidence and make new friends while doing so.
During and after each ride ALP Coaches Alison Powers and Jennifer Sharp will provide feedback, instruction, and coaching to improve your skills, dial in your nutrition and hydration needs, teach you about all the gravel riding equipment options, and leave you with tips and advice you can supply to the rest of your season.
This two-day camp welcomes riders looking for long, off-road training days and professional instruction. We'll aim for 3-4 hours of riding each day. Day 1 will focus on climbing and more technical riding. Day 2 will be fast gravel roads focused on speed and riding in a group.
All riders will need to bring a Cyclocross or Gravel bike with 34-42c tires, and we highly recommend that your bicycle be equipped with a 11-32 cassette, and/or a compact crankset (for day1).
