200,000+ Bikes for World Bicycle Relief

September 17, 2014

WBR recently announced they’ve crossed the 200,000 mark for bikes distributed in developing countries around the world.

World Bicycle Relief is dedicated to mobilizing people through The Power of Bicycles®. World Bicycle Relief accomplishes its mission by designing and distributing high quality bicycles that withstand the challenging conditions in rural Africa.

Since 2005, World Bicycle Relief has distributed 200,000 bikes in developing countries around the world with a focus on rural Africa. Entrepreneurs use the bikes to increase productivity and profits. Students with bikes attend class more regularly which improves performance and graduation rates. And, health care workers visit more patients in less time, providing better, more consistent care.

Pactimo is proud to be a continued supporter of WBR and their inspirational mission.

We encourage you to learn more and join the WBR movement.

17th Battlefield to Vermont - B2VT

April 17, 2017

June 10, 2017 will be the 17th annual edition of the B2VT ride (formerly known as the B2B). In 2014 the course was altered to accommodate the new start and finish points but still contained most of the original B2B course (but was even more hilly!). The 2017 B2VT Ride will continue to be one of the most challenging single day rides in New England. By design, it is not for everyone.  This ride is for cyclists who are physically and mentally tough, don’t whine, excel in the face of challenges, know the rules of the road and can ride 130+ miles to the finish safely and without their hands being held. While it is an epic ride, it is not for novice riders nor the faint of heart…
