Pactimo Announces Challenged Athletes Foundation as First 10in10 Campaign Selection

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO.  March 4, 2013 – Pactimo, Colorado-based provider of premium cycling and triathlon apparel, has announced Challenged Athletes Foundation as their first 10in10 campaign selection.  The 10in10 campaign was designed with the goal of benefitting ten non-profit organizations in 2013.  The program commemorates Pactimo’s tenth year of operations, as well as its core mission of having a positive impact on society.

“We are excited to have selected CAF as our first non-profit to support for the month of March.  Their impact and mission are truly inspiring,” said Pactimo CEO, Frank Kim.  “We were a bit overwhelmed by the number and quality of nominations we received for the 10in10 campaign.  The selection process was difficult because there were so many excellent programs. We look forward to featuring nine more outstanding charities throughout 2013.”

CAF’s mission is to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.  CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. “We are honored to be selected as a benefiting charity of Pactimo’s 10in10 campaign,” said Virginia Tinley, Executive Director of the Challenged Athletes Foundation. “We look forward for this opportunity which we hope will not only allow us to support more challenged athletes, but also inspire others – both able bodied and physically challenged.”
