GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO June 3, 2013 – Pactimo, a Denver based provider of premium cycling and triathlon apparel, is excited to announce Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families of Denver as their June 10in10 campaign selection. The 10in10 campaign was designed with the goal of benefitting ten non-profit organizations in 2013 and commemorates Pactimo’s tenth year of operations.
“Family is important to Pactimo, and we are happy to be able to support Heritage Camps and their outstanding work in helping children find a sense of pride in their heritage,” said Pactimo CEO, Frank Kim. “The 10in10 campaign has already been successful in generating donations and awareness for several great causes. We are looking forward to the added assistance we can bring to Heritage Camps in June.”
No other such resource like Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families exists in Colorado. HCAF started in 1991 with one summer heritage camp that was held for 60 families with children adopted from Korea. Heritage Camps incorporated as a nonprofit in 1995, and now serves close to 900 families annually from across the nation at their ten heritage camps: African/Caribbean, Cambodian, Chinese I and II, Filipino, Indian/Nepalese, Korean, Latin American, REECA (Russian/Eastern European/Central Asian), and Vietnamese. More than just an annual vacation for adoptive families, HCAF provides lasting community networks, meaningful cultural connections, and targeted information and referrals.
“We are honored to be the Pactimo 10in10 recipient for the month of June,” said Executive Director at Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families, Pam Sweetser. “The support of Pactimo will truly make a difference to so many adopted children and their families who attend our camps this summer. Plus, we absolutely love the jerseys!”
Pactimo has a history of partnering with charitable causes and has donated well over $100,000 in cash donations. During each selected charity’s month, these 10in10 organizations will be highlighted in Pactimo’s extensive customer and industry communication channels. Pactimo will sponsor a matching grant program to encourage cash donations, and its e-commerce site will feature a specifically designed cycling jersey and running tee to raise funds for the organization.
