It’s no wonder the first annual Castle Crags Century was such a huge success, it’s a ride with just the right amount of everything!

With four ride options, the second annual Castle Crags Century promises to be a wonderful day of cycling for all level of riders.

Castle Crags CenturyThe full century ride features roughly 9000 feet of climbing, making it not only challenging but especially rewarding as well. Participants will enjoy an incredibly scenic route along creeks and rivers, past scenic mountain lakes, and spectacular views of Mt.Shasta, Castle Crags, Trinity Alps and the Sacramento River. All the beauty will be yours to behold from the seat of your beloved bicycle — the best place to see the world!

The Metric Century is comprised of only the Castle Crags section of the ride, which is 61.4 miles and approximately 6,500 feet of climbing. 

A Family ride begins in the Mount Shasta City Park and goes out to Edgewood, around Hoy Road and back through Weed. It extends 35 miles and features 2200 feet of scenic rolling hills with stunning Mount Shasta vistas.

There’s also the “gone fishin” ride for kids and beginners that is exactly 10 miles in length. An optional stop at the Sisson Museum and fish hatchery at mile 5 offers a complimentary museum and hatchery tours and fun fish-feeding activities for the kids.

97 miles with 7800 feet climbing
62.5 miles with 5700 feet of climbing
34.5 miles with 2100 feet of climbing 
10 mile – 600 feet climbing
